Cast Iron Plant’s attractive sword-like leaves remain dark green in color throughout the year. Neither the flowers nor the fruit are ornamentally significant. Sturdy and easy to grow. Matures at 1 to 3 feet tall and wide. A tough popular foliage plant for foundation plantings or interior use. Evergreen leaves 2.5 feet tall and 4 inches wide arise from underground stems.
